: A Pancoast tumor is at the apex of the lung, and can present with symptoms of brachial plexopathy, but unless you have risk factors for lung cancer, it's unlikely. A chest X-ray would rule in or out such a diagnosis. An MRI of your cervical spine is appropriate, and would be next step in a diagnostic imaging work-up.

We : We sometimes see hand numbness and swelling with compression of the nerves as they come down through the shoulder under the pectoralis muscle. If the mri's are normal ms is not a consideration.If the ncv shows no nerve slowing at the wrist ask your doctor to feel for tight knots in the pectoralis minor muscle or just above the collar bone. This is treated with stretching exercises and is often seen with poor posture. It is most common in women with large breasts and in people who spend the day hunched over a computer keyboard.

paresthesia in right arm and hand when working, doing dishes or house cleaning, once rest, it get back to normal, done lot of test all fine, it's been a month now what could this be?

i can't do things like cross arms, legs, comb hair, hold phone, push ups w/out some form of paresthesia. how is that anxiety? xanax doesn't stop it. i'm not panicking. i have popping in hand, shoulder blade that shoots pins and needles down arm.

Anxiety or medical?: A diagnosis of anxiety as a cause of physical symptoms can only be made when medical causes have been ruled out. Suggest you see your pcp for an evaluation of paresthesias. That said, anxiety can cause numerous physical symptoms even without conscious panicky thoughts  because of the body's response to an adrenaline surge via the "fight or flight" reaction. hurt my medial side of elbow against door. cant flex my arm shooting severe pain, little finger is ok no parasthesias or numbness. have i hurt ulnar?

Owner nerve was contacted: Your history and symptoms suggest you did hit the ulnar nerve. Long-term damage is unlikely however short term will be painful.Cold compresses to the area may be helpful as well as taking a med like Aleve (naproxen) if this kind of medication is safe for you. Do not lift, push, pull or carry anything on the affected side until pain and swelling  has resolved. If no resolution in a week call your MD.

Testing: Could be carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome.  Nerve conduction testing may be helpful to better clarify that the issue is.

Likely: Hyperventilating during a panic attack can cause those symptoms by blowing off too much carbon dioxide. Breathing into a paper bag can reverse this carbon dioxide loss. I strongly recommend stress management therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy going forward. Medication may be temporarily prescribed as well.  Ask your physician for a referral.

It should not.: Tennis elbow is an inflammatory condition  of the tendon origin on the outer elbow bone. It it outside of the elbow joint. If you are having swelling in the hand, it is most likely coming from another source.
