i had biopsy come back as colonic mucosa with prominent lymphoid aggregate. (found in cecum) i have a family history of colon cancer, years of food intolerances (gluten, dairy, eggs) and ibs.  don't have genes for celiac. could this be of concern?

: Rather non-specific findings, somewhat typical for the cecal area and aligned to your history of multiple food allergies. Such findings are best interpreted in dynamics and correlating with current symptoms and previous workup and that's why your gastroenterologist remains your best reference at this point as being able to incorporate them in your current clinical context.

i recently discovered my ibs problems were actually allergy/intolerance to egg, but now i'm afraid of common allergens (nuts,fish). is this illogical?

Intolerance: I believe that you are intolerant of eggs with respect to your IBS and since this is not a true allergy there should be no cross reaction to other foods. Any intolerance of other food substances are indeed possible but would not be a true cross sensitivity.

i have ibs and currently in a loose stool phase. i eat 2 eggs a day and past few days stool has been smelling like eggs. normal?

Stool smell of eggs: Can't be normal. in 55 years of medicine I have never heard of this. Discuss with your Dr. If you mean like rotten eggs do that today.

extreme bloating and sulfur burps right after eating 1 spoon of beans and 1 egg as my nutritionist had written me for my ibs. should i eliminate them from my diet?

i have watery poop burps that taste like rotten eggs and my guts are extra bubblely. i normally am constipated. i have ibs?

Need more info.: If these symptoms have only been present a couple of days, this could be food poisoning or a viral gastroenteritis, regardless of your IBS.  If this has been going longer, however, then there may be an underlying process such as IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, other infection or even a gallbladder issue.  If this has been going on for more then five days, go visit your doctor.

blood work confirmed high liver enzymes. may have sibo, i did have h pylori, i have ibs and pcos and gastritis. found eggs in stool and was going to test for a parasite. if your liver is in a chronic state but you have a parasite how do you treatit?

Liver inflammation: You will need to discuss with your treating physician.  If the liver inflammation is due to a liver parasite, treating the infection is very helpful.

IBS: Obviously the key is to avoid foods that trigger your IBS, but if diarrhea is occurring after more and more foods, you could ask your physician or gastroenterologist to prescribe an antispasmodic medication like bentyl (dicyclomine) 1/2 hour before eating the meal as this often prepares the intestinal tract and avoids cramping and diarrhea. For stubborn episodes the dose can be repeated in 6 hours.

Rome Criteria: There is no lab test or procedure to diagnose ibs, but labs, xrays, colonoscopy, endoscopy can be used to rule out other conditions that are similar to ibs. Ibs is often diagnosed when one has the signs and symptoms of the rome criteria. These are criteria that experts have set up to diagnose ibs.

Abdominal pain: Alternation of diarheea, constipation and abdominal pain. Also if other causes that can cause this are ruled out.
