Possibly.: It is unusual for ovulation to occur so early in the menstrual cycle.  The more important issue here is that the sperm can sometimes live in the woman's reproductive tract for up to a week.  This means that the sperm from day 6 can fertilize an egg released on day 13-14.

Ovulation: Without knowing when you ovulate during your cycle and how long your periods are any answer to your question is pure speculation.  But, in general ovulation day is not two days before the period starts and you are not likely to be pregnant if that is the only time you were exposed to semen during the cycle.

Depends: Ovulation usually occurrs within 2 weeks after your period starts.  An egg is released from the ovary and may or may not find its way into the fallopian tube.  It usually does not implant into the uterus unless it becomes fertilized, even then, it's not a guarantee.

Difficult: The endometrium(lining of the womb) is very minimal from estrogen stimlation only(no progesterone) and it would be very difficult for an egg to have left the ovary during such a time in the menstrual cycle as well as implant. However, in the field of fertility, nothing is impossible.

Implantation bleeding is much more common on the internet than in real life.: It occurs rarely and exclusively in someone who is pregnant. The only way to know if someone had implantation bleeding or just irregular menstrual bleeding is to wait and see if you are pregnant. If your test is positive then this was implantation bleeding. If it is negative then it is just irregular menstrual bleeding.

No: Not sure what you mean. 2 embryos were placed in but that does not mean they implanted. If the pregnancy test was negative then that means the embryos never implanted and you are not pregnant. Likely the symptoms are from a period about to begin.

Got regular periods?: A woman cannot get her normal regular period and be pregnant at the same time. However, she can get pregnant a week or two after her normal period. If she has some spotting or light bleeding that doesn't look like her normal regular period, she can check a urine pregnancy test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) to see if she is pregnant.

Life isn't that way.: There is no egg "right before menstruation." The egg exists for about one day in mid-cycle, which means there is no menstruation until 2 weeks later at the end of the cycle. By the time menstruation starts, there hasn't been an egg for the last 2 weeks. Timing is approximate... but a woman has an egg for about one day (maybe 2 calendar days at the most), about 2 weeks before menstrual bleeding.
