Take charge, Ask Qs: Recognize reality that your primary physician (medical decision maker) is always yourself, no one else. Always get copies of all data, lab numbers, medical images, etc. & work on understanding them. Don’t put up with md intimidation. If md won’t or can’t readily answer questions well, even “dumb” questions (sometimes the best), go elsewhere. Be respectful & appreciative, if warranted. Use the net.

Hospitals &: Doctors have been in denial. Institute of medicine claim nearly 100k die from preventable error. Many are adopting high reliability cultures to combat these errors, introducing safety first training. It's real. Hospitals are to be avoided unless necessary.

Look carefully: Place the lens on the tiop of your finger. When looking at it closely, if the rim of the lens "lips out" like a vase, it is inside out. If it has no lip (like a drinking glass), it is right side out.

Focusing: Refractive errors are intrinsic poor focus of the eyes.  It may mean your eyeball is too long or short or the lens or cornea are of inappropriate power.  In most cases, glasses or contact lenses can correct the refractive error fully.
