Effexor (venlafaxine) and weight: Antidepressants usually suppress appetite initially, but then may cause slower metabolism and wt gain.  Some people say they get hungry on them (mostly when they not fatigue) gaining wt after stopping may be return of anxiety and depression.

And normal body mass index is about 18 to 25, overweight is 25 to 30, and obesity above 30. Therefore your weight is fine for your height. Everything else really depends on your total health. The question to ask is what was your weight before these medications
