Possible: When an unexplained rash appears after the introduction of a new drug (even within weeks prior), the new drug is guilty unproven proven innocent.  However, there are also other causes for rash.

See your doctor: It is best to see your doctor for advice in going off a medicine that may be causing a side effect and taking another. In addition medication may be recommended to relieve itching and rash.

i suffer by hayfever and allergies spring is coming and i was wondering if it's ok and safe to take zyrtec-as needed- with venlafaxine  an clonazepam ?

Caution advised: cetirizine and clonazepam together might increase risk of CNS depression, local intranasal meds might be more convenient in your case, please see your doctor or an ENT, or an allergist for help, good luck

OK but: citirazine does have mild sedating effect and may give additive drowsy effect to your current drug regimen. If you already feel drowsy or tired, consider Allegra (fexofenadine) instead.

1 mo. 10mg lex did nothing. 1 mo.of effexor (venlafaxine) xr and only s/e. switched to 20mg lexapro & after 6 days no signs of anything at all. what's my deal?

Patience: Unfortunately it sometimes takes several trials to find the right antidepressant that helps you without causing side effects. Lexapro (escitalopram) is a very good antidepressant, but 6 days isn't enough time to judge whether the 20mg will work for you. Antidepressants have a cumulative effect that builds up over time. Give it 4-6 weeks before giving up on it. I know you'd love to feel better now, hopefully soon

i woke up two nights in a row with mild night sweats. i just started effexor 2 weeks ago so that could be it or could it be a sign of ms? are they even true night sweats since it doesnt get on my clothes or sheets ?

: Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease affecting the eyes, brain, and spinal cord.  It does not present with night sweats, and this would NOT be a sign of impending MS.

Effexor (venlafaxine) Ineffective?: It depends upon: what it was prescribed for, how long you've been on it, and how big a dose you're on. If given for anxiety and depression, those disorders should resolve or significantly improve. Of course, it is necessary to be at the right dose for the right amount of time. These medications can take weeks (even 6-8+!) to work.

Unlikely: Unfortunately joint pain is one of those symptoms where there can be a multitude of possible causes.  So, while it's technically possible ... It's somewhat unlikely.  In actuality, the norepinephrine component of Effexor (venlafaxine) usually improves pain symptoms by blocking the pain signaling pathway.  Wish there was a more definitive answer ...
