i have a rash. one doc said bed bugs. the next said eczema. they are sporadic welts ann patches of red rashes. any insight? very itchy. on tummy &back

Eczema: Both of the diagnoses are plausible.  Bed bug bites also happen often on the arms and legs.  Also, you may find them if you search and you might notice a pungent odor.  If these are not the case, it is more likely eczema. Try the treatment they have prescribed for a few weeks and see if the symptoms are eliminated.

No connection: Unless your child has wiscott-aldrich syndrome.  Consult with your child's pcp especially if easy bruising is associated with pallor, nose, gum, or rectal bleeding.

Bruising : A bruise is a bruise is a bruise. A linear bruise is more likely to be from a scratch. A bruise in the pattern and shape of your soccer ball is more likely to be from the game you played last night.

Unlikely , but poss.: it may be due to a medication you have taken reciently , such as aspirin ,,,   or it could be due to severe scratching .   if it continues or occurs elsewhere , a doctor visit is probably a good idea

See a dermatologist: Itchy scaling rash on feet could be eczema or it could be due to psoriasis, contact dermatitis or a fungal infection. A dermatologist can do a scraping to determine if there is fungus there and then prescribe appropriate treatment. If eczema cream is applied to fungal infections they will get worse, and antifungal creams do nothing to treat eczema.

im 18 & i have had eczema all my life & ive noticed that n certain parts of my body where i have a rash it looks like a bruise. can it be skin cancer?

There is no way to: know without seeing the lesions. bruises will go away, skin cancer will not. If a lesion stays more than a month I would have a board certified dermatologist take a look

since miscarriage, i break out in a rash right before and after my monthly. it itches really bad and welts up then bruises. isn't ezcema, what is it?

Rash: Your history is interesting but I am not sure it is related to the miscarriage. You do not describe where the rash is, but you need to have a doctor look at it for a proper diagnosis. Some individuals have cyclical hives with their menstrual cycles, and that may be your case.

Wax: Wsp stands for white soft paraffin.  The steroid is dissolved in the paraffin and that allows it to be diluted and delivered in a form where you can easily apply it to your skin.

my boy is 5 months old. we went to cape town last month. however, after the trip, hes skin become very dry and itch. maybe is eczema. ?

Lotion: He may be experiencing eczema or an allergic reaction. I would recommend seeing your Pediatrician. Were there any new food exposures including your diet? Is there any wheezing, rash or any other symptoms?
You can try a soothing eczema cream for babies until seen.

i had bad eczema as a kid its been gone for years now but all of of sudden i have psoriasis now its not severe its mild but should i still be worried? should i go get tested for other things ? and if so what?

: There are now a number of excellent treatments for psoriasis. Discuss with your Derm. Psoriasis can have serious long term effects on your health.
