Gentle washing: Some people tend to produce more oils from the skin.  If you use a face wash for oily skin, you could also apply it when washing your face on the ear lobes to see if that can reduce some of the oil buildup.  I would avoid getting it in your ear canal, but the outerside is okay.  You could also use a washcloth to help remove the soap once you apply it.

Less likely: Although, stress is a reason for itchiness, but it would probably be expected to cause more extensive itchiness than just the ear lobes. I'd look for other more plausible causes such as seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, allergic reaction, ear infection (skin infection) before i write it off to stress.
