Otitis: Seems to be ear infection. See your doc to be evaluated. Wax also causes hearing loss. May need antibiotics ear drop or by mouth depending upon your presentation. Try Ibuprofen meantime.

: The story fits with the normal opening of the Eustachian tube that joins the middle ear to the back of the throat. Allergies/colds/irritants can trigger congestion that leads to tube closure. If closed, air is absorbed from the middle ear and a minor vacuum is created. Yawning straightens the tube &amp; lets air pressure equalize. Noise is perceived.  I'd ignore it.

: Clogged feeling in ear can be from wax, water, or congestion inside the ear. If you have been in the ocean, often water gets in the ear canal. But because you did not have it before you went to bed then most likely it is congestion inside the ear and would be best to use Claritin. When you get fluid in the ear canal then you put SwimEar drops in the ear canal to clear.

Eustachian tube: Hello, your ear symptoms are due to a eustachian tube dysfunction. The lining in your nose continues into the eustachian tube. Any condition affecting your nose will in turn cause ear symptoms. I would recommend afrin nasal spray as directed for 5 days. An otc decongestant can be used as directed thereafter for 7-10 days. If the symptoms persist, then see your ent.

See an Dr./ENT: Depending upon duration, severity and possible triggers, i would get into your dr., who may refer you to an ENT specialist to evaluate and test.

i have noticed my ears have popping bc of fluid more often (feeling muted hearing) but over the past week or so i have woken up with wet crusty scab like material in left ear. no pain, no fevers, currently there left ear feels clogged?

High frequency loss: If you are having more trouble hearing in a noisy room, you may have a hearing loss in the high frequencies (high pitches).  Do you work in a noisy environment? Obtain a hearing test and let an ENT doctor explain the configuration and pathology and possible treatment.
