my three year old has an ear infection, that looks and smells very bad, black ball of pus. he has no fever and does not seem to be bothered by it at all. i have a picture of it aswell.

: Yes, it could be, or could be a foreign body in the ear canal, or if you’ve been swimming or had water sit in your ear canal, you might have an ear canal infection. These are treated differently, so I would recommend that you be examined by your doctor or at an UrgentCare to be sure and get the proper treatment.

Time for visit: Some viral ear infections self heal in 2-4 day. Bacterial infections tend to persist and may lead to real complications. This is bacterial, an evaluation and treatment is advised.Prior to antibiotics, hearing loss due to chronic middle ear disease was not uncommon and a significant complication called mastoiditis requires surgical drainage.

i had an ear infection and it stopped hurting, but my ear smells bad. i would see a doctor but my country is still in lockdown and the hospitals are still full, might risk getting covid.. there's a pharmacy near so should i get an otc or something?

: Try hydrogen peroxide in your ear three or four times a day and don't probe your ear with anything.

Dehydrated?: A decrease in urination in children is usually an indicator of inadequate oral fluid intake and a degree of dehydration, which can cause a strong odor to the urine.  Medications can also alter the odor of the urine.

Yes: An outer ear infection is associated with ear discharge which could be quite smelly.  Keep water out of your ear and see your doctor for some prescription antibiotic ear drops.

Often: If you have an outer ear infection, the bacteria or fungus can make chemicals that do have an unpleasant odor.  It will go away once the infection is treated.

Yes, swimmer's ear: External ear infection, commonly called swimmer's ear, can produce an odor. Also, if the inner ear infection causes a rupture of the drum and drainage comes to the external canal etc...This can cause odor as well.
At times, foreign body such as qtip left in there for awhile can do that as well.

See your Doctor: You need to be examined by your doctor.You may have Middle Ear or outer ear infection and after exam the diagnosis will be established and you will receive appropriate treatment

i just finished up some medicine from a sinus infection and ear infection. now i have a vagina odor. the smell came out of no where. any idea?

Bacterial vaginosis?: The main cause of strong vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis, overgrowth of mostly normal vaginal bacteria. Some antibiotics can trigger BV by suppressing protective bacteria. Antibiotics also can trigger vaginal yeast infections, but usually no odor with yeast. See your doctor; if BV confirmed, you&#x27;ll need a prescription antibiotic. (An antibiotic to treat an antibiotic problem? Yes, probably.)
