ALL RELATED: It is common to have related pain from ear to jaw to teeth.  Sometimes one existing problem cause pain in other areas. However, you may have two independent problems in two separated areas, and one poor condition may be negatively affecting (making worse) other existing problems in other areas.  Please see a pcp or ENT doctor. If you have not seen a dentist, it is also a good idea to see a dentist.

Absolutely: The nerves to your ear also go to your jaw and so pain in one area can feel like it is in another. Most commonly, people with temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ) who have clicking in their jaw joint, teeth-grinding, or pain with eating can have referred pain to the ear.

Not sure: I'm not sure an ear infection could cause those symptoms.  However, tmd (temporomandibular joint dysfunction) could cause symptoms of an ear ache or ear infection.  The TMJ (temporomandibular joint) is in close approximation to the ear.  If there is inflammation going on around the joint it could be putting pressure on the ear.  Jaw hurting and feeling locked are signs of tmd.  I'd see a dentist.

It can or vice versa: Referred pain can occur when the branches of the same nerve give feeling to different areas. The ear and the jaw share nerves and so an ear infection can cause jaw pain and jaw problems (especially temporomandibular joint disorders, tmj) can cause ear pain.

the left side of my face (from my jaw to my ear) hurts my boyfriend said my lymph node may be swollen am i gettin an ear infection?

Facial pain: Could be a sinus infection or even  an eye infection.  Adenoviral infections will typically give a unilateral pre-auricular lymph nose and pain/discharge from same sided eye.

i have had an ear infection for a week but now i have a really sore jaw and sometimes my teeth hurt aswell, the pain isn't always there is it related?

Jaw pain: Impossible to know if this was related to your prior ear infection, if in fact it was ear infection. You need to be examined by a doctor and perhaps a dentist as well. This can occur with TMJ, sinusitis, herpes infection and a variety of other conditions. Go and get seen and diagnosed professionally and I hope this clears up soon.

Reactive Lymph node: Sounds like you may have and ear infection. The lymph nodes in that area would be expected to have increased activity as demonstrated by being somewhat more noticeable to larger as well as local tenderness.  Get your ear checked, the doc will check the local lymph nodes at the same time to be thorough.

Infection: You still have an infection...And it could be viral or bacterial. A negative strep is nice but sometimes it cannot be found on the tonsils if it is in the lymph node itself. Your ear hurts because the pain is referred up the eustachian tube to your ear fro your throat. Homeopathic pulsatilla may help as may gargling with salt water. Your doctor may also prescribe antibiotics if it is persistent.

infection(probably swimmers ear). doctor said i dont have a ruptured ear drum. wind being suck in(after putting prescribed drop). ear hurts when moving jaw. yellow green goo coming out(should i clean it?)

Otitis externa: No, you should not clean it yourself. See an ENT Doctor Who can carefully and properly clean the ear for you. That will help it heal safely and more quickly.

Ear infection: May have an ear infection-viral or bacterial.  Viral infections can last up to 10 days and symptom treatment and time are your best allies. Watch for clear secretions that change colors after symptoms have been present for a week or so and are accompanied by new onset fever or any other symptoms that concern you to decide if you need to see a doctor.
