Middle ear problem: Ringing in the ears accompanied by hearing loss could mean that there is a problem with the middle ear. It will be necessary to see a doctor to have a thorough evaluation of of the ear drum and the structures behind it. For now, avoid compensating by listening to things louder as this can damage your hearing further.

Blocked ear:  A common cause could be wax buildup. Getting water in the ear or a Qtip abrasion can cause an outer  ear infection, so called swimmer's ear. This is very painful. If you have allergies, this can cause swelling of the eustachian tube and a blocked feeling. Additionally, fluid can build up in the middle ear. A middle ear infection is possible, but usually also quite painful.  See ENT MD .

Ear: depends on the cause. If its wax, you need to have it removed. If its in the context of a cold sometimes decongestants help. I would see an ENT to check it out

Hello. : Hello. You could have an infection or you might simply have congestion that is preventing your eustachian tube from draining fluids from your middle ear.  You might wish to try an oral decongestant. Afrin is also very effective. It is a nasal spray that helps reduce swelling. However, it should only be used up to twice a day for a maximum of 3 to 5 days.

Yes: Etd can lead to an accumulation of fluid behind the eardrums, called serous otitis media. As some air gets through the blocked eustachian tubes, your ears may sound like they are popping, bubbling etc.  If the medicine is not working, your middle ear will fill up with more fluid and your ears will sound more blocked. Sometimes this fluid needs to be drained in a quick procedure at the office.

Doctor can check: Medicines such as Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, or Aleve are used to help ear infection pains and inflammation. Usually, ear pain that is very bad, is not improving after 2 days, or that is persistent or recurrent, should be seen by a doctor. The doctor generally needs to examine the patient's head, neck, ears, nose, and throat to see if antibiotics are needed for treating an infection.

Blocked: If you have any nasal congestion the eustachian tubes in the back of your nose may be blocked by mucus. This causes a blocked feeling in your ear. Irrigating the nasal passages gently with warm salt water usually helps. With severe congestion, nasal sprays like neosynephrine or afrin can be used temporarily. See your physician if symptoms persist or pain occurs or for wax removal if needed.

If no better see doc: People can make ear drop solutions at home using a 1:1 ratio of water and hydrogen peroxide.hydrogen peroxide is a cerumenolytic, which means that it can soften, break down, and dissolve earwax.if does not cl ar with light washing out ear with buld syringe see doctor.

Decongestant: If the decongestant is not helping and it has been more than a couple of days you will need to see a doctor, most likely your symptoms are self limited and should resolve on their own.
