my wife have the same symptons, 1 ear blocked after 2 days on bed , what she can take ?

I'm a little unclear: Has she been in bed for two days because she is sick? With other upper respiratory symptoms? The most common cause of "ear blockage" is called eustachian tube dysfunction..unequal pressure inside the inner ear. If part of a URI, it should resolve as that does. Antihistamines, intranasal steroid sprays or nasal decongestants may help. You can watch a few days or see Doc if more symptoms/worsening.

Cerumen impaction: This is likely secondary to cerumen (wax) impaction. Of course other possibilities such as infection need to be ruled out as well. You should see your PCPS for disimpaction.

Possibe fluid in ear: You should have your ear checked by your primary care physician.  You may need further test or medication.

Hard to say: Any other symptoms?   Bump probably will resolve over time.  You may have some residual tissue swelling or some fluid buildup.  I would maybe see a Dr. just to make sure everything is OK, though.

Allergies: Allergies can cause sinus congestion causing facial pain. Post nasal dripping can cause eustachian tube blockade which can cause ear fullness

my right ear feels clogged up not sure what's causing it. it is not painful it's just super uncomfortable and my head feels heavy on the right side. every time i pull my skin like when i tie my hair up it gets blocked. could you tell me what's causing it

Otoscope!: The easiest way to figure this one out is have someone look in your ear with an otoscope.  It's most likely wax build up or fluid trapped behind your eardrum.  If you're not in pain, it's not likely to be an infection.  Hope this helps!

It depends: Has the problem resolved or at least improved? If you are no better, call the ENT doctor. If your problems has resolved, try stopping the meds in the ENT doc agrees.

Hoping to clear ear: The nose is connected to the ear through the eustachian tube. Improving nasal function should improve eustachian tube problems hopefully helping to clear the ear. Beclomethasone spray helps to improve the nose and eustachian tube.

im only able to get a dr app. on monday. i feellike i have bronchitis & head cold, sore ear, blocked, headaches. what do i do in the mean time?

Comfort measures: Since this may all be viral &amp; meds unnecessary you can start usual management not. Make sure you consume fluids enough to pee at least every 6 hrs whether thirsty or not. Consume easily digestible foods. Take a simple pain med like Tylenol and  mucus losseners like Mucinex. Rest when you are tired.

Common side effect: You probably have an 'effusion' - fluid builds up in the ear because the eustachian tube at the back of your nose swells up with a cold  - makes the ear feel blocked.  It should respond to a simple treatment:  Over the counter Afrin nasal spray, two puffs in right nostril twice daily for three days.  Do NOT use Afrin more than 3 days.  If not better within 2 weeks, see your regular doctor.
