Several things: Cyst, abscess, etc.... It will need to  be examined to know for sure.

See your Dr!: From your description, it sounds like you may have an ear infection, which commonly causes the nearby lymph node to enlarge.  Fever is common, but if you are having seizures (as in epileptic seizures)  you should go to your local ER.

discovered small lump near/in front of right ear. it's painful and swollen. causing headaches, eye/ear ache, and dizziness. what could it be?

Lymph node: You may have a small swollen lymph gland...minor infection.  If it becomes hard and immobile then, I'd have it checked out.  You may just try placing something cold on it to see if the swelling would go down.  You may feel better.  You may also end up with a sore throat or some other pharyngeal type of infection.

by day 2 of antibiotic  a soft quarter sized lump showed up on my right side of neck.  day 5 i feel achy and slight runny nose, ear ache. why?

Reactive node: This sounds like a lymph node that is reacting to a viral syndrome that is evolving. This is not uncommon. Use symptomatic treatments and finish your antibiotics but remember that viruses generally do not respond to antibiotics. The node may take several months to go down.

You should stop: I'm so glad you stopped smoking and begun your journey toward better health! Unforunately, we know far to little about vapes and thus people should not be using them. I would recommend ceasing use of your vape and continue on your path of staying off tobacco products completely. You should feel better while off them!

after a few days of sinus problems, including sore throat and slight /occasional earache, i found a soft lump on left side of my neck. it's at the base sort of under my ear and jawbone. any idea what this could be?

Reactive node: It sound's like you have a reactive lymph node.  This is a lymph node that is doing it's job by enlarging to help get rid of the infections you've been suffering.  It should be gone within 4 weeks.  If it's not, see your doctor.

Lump behind ear: 22 year old gentleman past medical history significant for lymphadenopathy with painless lump behind ear, but the lump has been intermittently painful. Visit your MD for a full exam and let them feel this mass and move it around. Lymphadenopathy is possible, as is a cyst that can be removed by a dermatologist. It would be a good idea to get an exam by a physician to examine the area. Good luck.

Enlargement of these structures can be the result of infection, inflammation, trauma, and more. A thorough history is needed including duration, presence of other symptoms, recent illness, trauma, past medical history, and more. Visual inspection is crucial. See your doctor for correct diagnosis/treatment.
