: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. However, if this was a clean catch urine specimen, the findings of 3+ proteinuria &amp; rbcs indicates potentially serious glomerular kidney disease. A nephrologist should be consulted. Appropriate testing will be ordered&amp;includes a.microscopic examination of the urine sediment, A 24 hour measurement of total protein, urine immunofixation

Blood cells in urine: In my opinion, a finding of 5 red blood cells or less in urine is not a significant finding. Therefore it would not matter how the shapes were described. You should feel good that there are zero abnormally shaped (dysmorphic) cells. Isomorphic means "all in the same shape and size".
