Hand contractures: Dupytrens disease is a condition where the connective tissue of the fascia and tendon sheath of the hand undergo proliferation and scarring leading to contractors of the planar area of the hand causing loss of extension and range of motion of the fingers. Surgical treatment with excision is sometimes needed to restore function.

Dupuytren's contract: Duputren's contracture is fibrosis or scarring of the tendon sheath, most commonly the flexor tendon of the middle finger. With contracture you get a raised ridge of scar tissue in the palm with varying degrees of flexion deformity of the finger. Slightly more common in diabetics. When unable to straighten the effected finger, will need surgical correction. Need to see a hand surgeon.

Collagenase injections can be used for chords limited to the palm and mp joint in some patients.

Dupuytren's disease: It is  caused by thickening of the tissue under the skin in the hands and feet causing nodules & bands to form. No one knows why it happens.
The treatment varies per the degree of the disease. If it affects function of hands / walking, Collagenase injections or aponeurotomy done in the office setting are treatment options. Nodules alone or bands alone do not require treatment.

Clinodactyly: Clinodactyly is an adducto varus deformity when it happens in a toe  due to a growth plate abnormality  and the same when it happens in the hand .  It differs from dupuytrens  as the latter is caused by  plamar fibromatosis of the hand .   Dupuytrens can cause the same  positional deformity of the digit , but the 2  conditions are not the same
