It may occur when walking, getting up from sitting, and can be especially bad with sudden movement. The cramping from round ligaments is not associated with bleeding or pain that is severe and constant. As with any concerns, the patient should see her obstetrician.

They may cramp, and even have some spotting or bleeding - but it usually seems different than a normal period. Cramping and bleeding that are increasing, with bleeding getting heavier than a normal period may be signs of miscarriage. And one-sided pain may signal a tubal pregnancy. Not normal.: Any bleeding during pregnancy needs to be evaluated promptly by your doctor. About 50% of women experience some degree of bleeding in early pregnancy making it very common but  not normal. Most are fine but sometimes bleeding can indicate a tubal pregnancy or miscarriage.

2nd trimester, maybe: Once the uterus becomes an abdominal organ and leaves the pelvic cavity in the 2nd trimester the symptoms may abate. However, your abdomen will become distended at that point, and there may be other symptoms of pregnancy.

I would: Try aleve (naproxen) or ibuprofin.  Early on these pose no risk.  I would consider going in, it may be a bladder infection.
