Carefully: You bascially just want to cut the duct tape so that you cover the warts. You also don;t want the tape to bother you so you can cut it in a shape that is conducive to the anatomical area.

.cover for one week: Xover area with tape and change once or twice a week. The warts will become soft under earth and peel. The tape can be be augmented by placing wet Aspirin under tape on top of  warts to debridement or eat way at warts.Protect surrounding skin with vaseline.

Unknown...: It is a treatment recommendation that has spread over the internet.  As far as i know, there are no scientific studies to show any degree of effectiveness.  You are basically just tearing the upper layers of the skin away as the tape is removed.  There are better ways... See a podiatrist.

Helps with removal: For those who work to remove warts using otc products the duct tape has been used as a part of the process.Wart remover (a concentrated salicylic acid) is applied to the wart & let dry, the duct tape is cut to a size bigger than the wart & applied. Removal a day or 2 later pulls off a dead layer of wart. The procedure is repeated until the wart is gone. This is a slow process but sometimes works.

Duct tape: One way to use duct tape for treatment of warts is to put the duct tape on the warts and wearit all day and take it off at night and use an emory board to shave down the area and shower and then reapply to the duct tape and continue this.

It may: There is conflicting evidence for the use of duct tape on cutaneous warts.  This would include facial warts.  Nonetheless, it likely will not hurt you to try!  choose the stickier and the silver colored type for maximum effectiveness!  all the best.
