Fever: is higher with influenza than it is with the common cold.  Other symptoms of flu include muscle aches and pains, shaking chills, cough, sometimes nausea, and a longer course than the common cold.  Most people can go about their daily activities with a common cold.  The flu usually knocks you down for at least a few days.

Meanwhile warm...: It is possible that one might have started with viral infection complicated over time with bacterial infection. One might need to go back to see the Dr for antibiotics. Meanwhile warm salt water gargle after meals &amp; before bed + Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for the pain &amp; soreness can help. Vitamin C also helps the immune system.

OSA: Your symptoms are classic for obstructive sleep apnea.  If you are overweight or obese, then the diagnosis is near 100% certain with these symptoms.  See a sleep clinic or ENT about a sleep study.

Unless something else is going on, a 23yo female with Pickwickian syndrome should NOT be on home supplemental oxygen.  It does make it worse be slowing your breathing.  You need CPAP instead.

Respiratory symptoms: These symptoms certainly can be from COVID 19 especially in a young person. They could also be related to other conditions like other viruses, and many other conditions,  With difficulties with breathing, would be best evaluated by a doctor in person. For some people, their shortness of breath does stop them from doing activities and may be evaluated by a telemedicine visit

Covid exposure: Shelter in place wear mask at home and every other place. If possible use 1 bathroom at home and don’t share with others. Go to CDC.gov and follow guide lines. We also have guidelines and FAQS here.

See answer: Rest, increased fluids, and you can try over the counter headache meds like tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin as directed. If your symptoms persist, or get worse, then you may need to see a dr as it may be bacterial in origin requiring rx meds.  Best wishes.

Yes, get tested: It is important that exactly people like you get tested, so that we can learn of people with just minor "achy  symptoms " like yours may actually have a mild case of Covid19.  It also let's you know whether you need to keep a full quarantine.  You are absolutely correct that it may be just a nothing, but combine the fact you were exposed with mild symptoms-that equals get tested!
