Liver Inflammation: With Epstein-Barr virus can come inflammation of your liver.  It will usually resolve as you recover from the virus.  However, it will be important for your doctor to follow you to be sure it resolves.  If it does not, you will need to be worked up for other possible causes.

ct scan to see liver, kidney, maybe bowel. will i see what i need to see w/o drinking barium? looking for stones, kidney swelling, liver issues mainly. no contrast of any kind. is that ok?

Depends: CT scan for abdomen without any contrast can be fine for kidney or stone related issues. To observe bowel pathology or problems barium is recommended. IV contrast enhances the abdominal organs better and is usually recommended for even liver , gall bladder problems.

i have had some pain&swelling on the left side of my abdomen, between my ribcage and hip bone, like a small bagel, seems worse when i drink coffee?

Accepted Answer

Gastritis?: Sounds like that could be gastritis.  Or a stomach ulcer.  Try to stop drinking coffee for a little while and see if it heals up.  If not, try Prevacid (lansoprazole) OTC.  If that doesn't help in a couple of weeks, see a GI doctor for some testing.

i noticed i have what feels like swelling right below both side of my ribs right above my abdomen. also not sure if its related but everytime i eat i feel like my food gets stuck in my throat even have a hard time drinking after this happens.

Gastroenterologist: I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist. You may be dealing with an hiatal hernia or esophageal motility disorder.

Good idea: It would not hurt to see a doctor to exclude injury.
Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Many options: There are multiple options for heavy, painful and irregular periods. Hormonal treatments such as birth control pills, Progesterone treatments and the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud are effective reversible treatments that will help many people. There is also a drug called Lysteda that contains no hormones which will help others.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Your symptoms are suggestive of liver disease. It would be prudent to see a doctor.

It is easy to find o: Kidney failure may or may not cause swelling. But it is easy to check your kidney function with a simple blood test. It is called blood creatininnie level...Normally it is, 1.5mg. If it is 2 mg or over, that means the kidneys are no longer functioning normally.
