Drink all you can!: I say yes.  You need to stay well hydrated after wisdom teeth come out.  As long as it doesn't hurt when you drink it, and as long as you keep doing the salt water rinses on a regular basis (as well as follow all the other post op instructions) you will be fine to drink almost anything.  Just avoid alcohol and acidic juices.

Eventually: I guess if you have no contraindications to drinking alcohol, you will be able to do so after the wound has healed and you are not taking narcotic pain meds. Consult with your surgeon for post op instructions.

Wait 5-7 days: Not right away, alcohol can interfere with healing and could lead to a dry socket.  Give the tissue 5-7 days to heal.  When and if you do choose to drink alcohol, please do responsibly.

After finishing meds: Often times painkillers and antibiotics are prescribed when wisdom teeth are extracted. It is not safe to drink alcohol while on these medications because of the interactions of these. 
It is however critical to not drink any alcohol in the first 24 hours of getting your teeth extracted.

What to eat?: After 72 hours following extraction, it is still best to stay on a softer diet. Avoid the small, harder items like nuts, seeds, popcorn. You want to avoid jamming anything into the sockets. Should try and at least rinse after every meal or snack. Gently brush the other teeth. Increase to a regular diet as you feel more like normal.  Happy healing!

Some things: It would be best to avoid any carbonated or bubbly drinks for the first few days (may effect the blood clot in the sockets). You need to avoid alcohol if you are taking pain medication. My best advice would be to ask your surgeon for more details.

i had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and i would like to know how long until i can drink soda again?

Depends: If you want to drink soda now, you should remove the fizz by pouring it back and forth between two containers (glasses work). This removes the carbonation which is what might damage the blood clot forming in the socket where the teeth were. If you need the fizz, wait 2 - 3 days at least, to be safe. Otherwise you risk a dry socket complication. Not fun. Good luck.
