: If your testosterone is normal with a single functional testicle you are fine, Some young people does have low testosterone level after unilateral orchiectomy.
The things you mention do not affect testosterone level by my knowledge. However, gaining weight due to poor activity and lack of exercise may have a negative impact with testosterone production.

If it contains artificial sweeteners &amp; is used daily, this is linked to a 3 fold ^ in dementia &amp; stroke.

Men get somewhat of a pass with this. Their sperm are created daily in the hundreds of thousands. Those impaired by exposure don't swim as well as the healthy ones. If there are enough good ones they get the job done

See below: The chronic drinking lowers testosterone levels & thus causes testes to shrink. Suggest aa & detox program to get off alcohol. Damage may be permanent, but perhaps testosterone replacement can help. Ask urologist/endocrinologist. But must stop drinking to prevent further damage & side effects.

If : If he is having abdominal and back pain, and decreased urination, as well as testicle pain, then he needs to go to the er immediately.  He could have a kidney or bladder infection, kidney stone, epididymitis,  or testicular torsion.  He could also have an abdominal process such as appendicitis, especially if he has having any vomiting or fever.  Please take him immediately in for evaluation.
