EDS: Eds requires a team of physicians to handle to multiple problems associated with it. We have a team her in south bend, in that have expertisse in this area. How you may determine pain management to be done best and how we may feel may not always be consistent though.

Mostly genetic: Body image is too often a distraction. Be healthy and fit as you care to be. Mostly be with those who love you. Give to those who you can.

Your future . . .: Your future does not depend upon your figure & appearance. Your future is what you make of it, regardless of whether you have an hour glass like figure or not. That is not the point of eating healthy (search for mediterranean diet) & regular physical activity (search for strength, endurance, balance & flexibility exercises). Have confidence in yourself b/c of you, not b/c what someone else says.

Any piercing has the: Potential to leave an ugly scar. Consider keloid scar formation, infection or rejection of metal.

i just took my monroe piercing out because there was a keloid around it and i found out it's infected too. what should i do?

Accepted Answer

Do not reinsert: You may have a metal allergy that is causing the keloid and infection.  I would abandon the piercing and focus on reducing as much inflammation as possible by treating the infection.  Seek medical attention if this is not better in several days.

is it safe to use keflex to treat an infected monroe piercing?

Should be.: Keflex (cephalexin) should be fine although it can cross react in penicillin allergy.

does anyone know if laproscopic surgery is available to medicaid/blue cross(monroe plan) patients in ny state?

Accepted Answer

Should be: The type of surgery whether laparoscopic or open or robotic depends more on what surgery you need and the comfortability your surgeon has doing that procedure laparoscopically than your insurance. If you need surgery and it can be done laparoscopically then your insurance should cover it.

can i go to the emergency room to get a monroe( lip ring) removed. my skin grew over the ring. if not who can i go to.

You may need: a skilled plastic surgeon to reduce the chances of permanent scarring. talk to your family doc first unless of course you truly have an Emergency/Urgency with sever skin infection/fevers, sever pain, pus coming out etc

how to get rid of keloid on monroe piercing?

Injections first: If you have a true keloid scar the best first line treatment is steroid injection.  If that fails to improve the keloid to your satisfaction the next option is excision which comes with very high recurrence rates (and can come back worse than the original) and a postop regimen of silicone, pressure, and in severe cases even radiation treatment.  I would suggest removing the jewelry if treating it.

i was going to a pain  mangement in monroe mi i when to a pain management in toledo ohio and they can do nothing  for it hurt to walk sit sleep i cry?

Complex approach is: Pain is a symptom. Often you need to identify the cause, treat it and the pain will disappear. Every part of the body has a different approach. Also characteristics of pain could give indications of what it is from and how can be treated. More information would be advisable. Also contact with an experience neurosurgeon, and pain specialist would help a lot.
