Should be: The type of surgery whether laparoscopic or open or robotic depends more on what surgery you need and the comfortability your surgeon has doing that procedure laparoscopically than your insurance. If you need surgery and it can be done laparoscopically then your insurance should cover it.

Should be: If you have medical indications for surgery : (pain, ovarian cysts, heavy bleeding, pain with intercourse, endometriosis, etc - many others) - your insurance should cover. I don't know the ny criteria specifically - but if your symptoms suggest a cause that needs surgical investigation, your insurance type should cover. Some mk types only cover preventing health services so would not cover any ot.
