You may need: a skilled plastic surgeon to reduce the chances of permanent scarring. talk to your family doc first unless of course you truly have an Emergency/Urgency with sever skin infection/fevers, sever pain, pus coming out etc

Would not recommend: ER visit unless you have something needing emergent treatment or if you are experiencing something life threatening. Talk to your family doctor who may refer you to a plastic surgeon.
