Not much: Both work to quit spasms and cramps. Like anything else, what works for one might not work for another. You just have to see. If one is working for you don't worry about the other one.

If tolerating none: Mebeverine is the new antispasmodic medication release smooth muscles of bowel . Used in irritable bowel syndrome, spastic colon, some types of colitis, if tolerates , & helps no complications in  long term use are reported.

Pretty sure I've: answered this before.
There are several different groups of IBS medications.
There are ones that just slow the gut down (imodium, bentyl, (dicyclomine) mebeverine are three) these can work by activating narcoitc recenptors (imodium) or blocking the hormone acetylcholine (bentyl) These don't get out of the gut so have few other effects.
Can also change serotonin levels (first gen anti-depressants).

PPI: PPI work differently from the antispasmodic medications. There should not be any problems taking it together. If there are concerns. I would discuss this with your pharmacist.

Peppermint: The best reference person in this regard is your OB doc. He knows your history and what's good and no so good, so i'd urge you to call him. Also, I am in doubt that peppermint would be helpful with ibs altogether. There's a good chance it may improve on its own, so if it is not very bothersome, i'd rather have you watch your symptoms.

Quite a few: but first, look for dietary modifications (increased fluid and fiber intake) taht might be helpful in some.
Then, older tricyclic antidepressants act through 2 different ways to help (anti-cholingergics shut the gut like mebeverine but are milder; they also lower gut reactions if used at low constant doses).
Lomotil, bentyl (dicyclomine) are other gut motility drugs with overlapping side effects to mebeverine.
