See below: A meniscus is a structure that is made of cartilage and serves as a cushion between two bones.  The knee has two: one medial and one lateral.  Sometimes they can tear through degeneration or injury.  The term residual means that there is “still” a tear; suggesting a persistent tear.  This term can be used if someone has had prior surgery, or even if they have had a previous mri to compare to.

Allergy/sinuses: If you have had a head injury recently then this could be a serious problem and you need to be seen right away. If you have not had a head injury then it is likely to be allergic rhinitis or chronic sinusitis. You could try a nonsedating anti-histamine like loratadine and nasal saline solution to try and clear up the drainage. If this does not work then see your doctor for further evaluation.

Not normally: A strain or tear of the gluteus minimus maybe painful but does not require surgery. It will heal in 4-8 weeks. Then physical therapy to stretch (as tolerated) and strengthen the muscle. Now if you are talking about an injury of the gluteus minimus tendon: yes there are surgeries to repair t if chronically symptomatic.

Unlikely: Typically a person develops an allergic response to an airborne allergen that contacts the moist surface of the eyes.  While the tears contain multiple proteins that are cytokines, mediators, and inhibitors, a person does not become allergic to these substances.  It's the pollen, dander, mold, etc that is the allergic trigger.

Maufactured: from saline: salt water maufactured in your body. Unless you are using eyedrops or have dry eyes-tears are uniform.

In an emergency: Artificial tears will not harm contact lenses but they will not clean or disinfect them.  For that you need contact lens solution (which is much cheaper than artificial tears, anyway.).

Size of thecut: Episiotomies are rarely necessary.  It is ok to ask that a routine episiotomy not be performed.  A spontaneous tear should it occur may be smaller and less painful than an episiotomy.

normal: When you yawn, the opening of the mouth widely causes a compression of the tear drainage tubing next to the nose.  If you have residual tears in your eye, this will cause them to leak over onto your cheek.  This is normal and not a problem.
