Groin lymph nodes: In thin body type lymph nodes may be  palpable. Large size lymph nodes to be observed. If there is an increase in size or not getting any small in size than biopsy of the lymph node would be necessary. See your doctor for diagnosis

i have ovarion cysts , and i noticed within a few days , on my ride side my groin nodes are swollen . should i go to a doctor ?

Need to be seen: doubt the ovarian cysts have anything to do with the nodes and need to be checked out as they may be related to an infection and other causes

: Is there a lymph node felt there? Is there possibility of STD? Are you constipated? It could be referred pain from the abdomen. If you have fever you may want to get evaluated by a physician. Try also to relieve constipation if possible before being concerned too much about it.

: No, HIV cannot do this. But if you might have been exposed or for any reason are worried about having HIV, have a blood test.

Not usually: You could have a bacterial infection which can occur with fungus.  Better have it looked at since that is not the norm.

do genital warts cause enlarged groin nodes? my right node is the size of an almond and theres small round ones around it, i have multiple brown mole like spots at the base of my penis and on it so hpv, worried i have lymphoma im also itchy?

: HPV or warts do not cause enlarged lymph nodes. "Brown mole like spots" don't sound like genital warts, and a single enlarged lymph node in the groin is very unlikely to be lymphoma. In any case, it's a waste of time and emotional energy to hope for answers on a forum like this. Since you're worried, see a doctor, for goodness' sake!

partner has herpes. i've been having itch, tingle, and enlarged groin nodes always around the time of my period but nothing visible. do i have it?

Not herpes: See yesterday's reply. Also, herpes outbreaks never last more than a few days; recur no more often than every 4-6 weeks; and between outbreaks there are no symptoms at all -- no tingle, no itch, nothing. If you have more or less continuous or more frequent symptoms, herpes cannot be the cause. Even pos blood test wouldn't help:  it would mean asymptomatic herpes plus somother cause of the symtoms.
