If this is not the case your need to provide more information.

The urine volume is very low and may represent an under collection.

Aptima: Since this test is PCR test it looks for the particles etc that bind gonorrhea so the volume shouldnt change the results.

Yes in diabetics: Diabetics with uncontrolled blood sugar will spill sugar into their urine.  This will pull water out of the body and can lead to urinary frequency.  If yu have this problem, you need to see your physician for the appropriate evluation and management.

my urine volume for uric acid testing was 6300 ml.  would that increase make a ua result of 1216 mg normal ? do you adjust for volume ? ty

Not really: Making 6 liters of urine means you drank a whole lot, likely too much.  That said, it should effect your uric acid excretion too much.  I would repeat the test with a more normal 2-3 liter oral intake of fluids.  You should also have your blood uric acid level checked, and you urine ph with a dipstick.

did a urine ultrasound the results were, significant post void residual volume of 278.1. 35 yrs, no other symptoms but tons of anxiety and hypochondria.. nervous it could be sinister.. thanks? was also told the bladder was distended out of 800ml?

: That is a significant residual postvoiding residual and a huge amount of urinary retention at your age and raises suspicion of bladder outlet obstruction or a neurogenic bladder problem. Your urologist will have to advise you about causes, treatment and, if advisable, referral to a neurologist.
