Growth Factor: Testosterone stimulates growth and multiplication of prostate cells - both normal and cancerous ones.  So if any cells survive the brachytherapy, they will grow faster in the presence of testosterone, and be more likely to form a large mass or spread to other parts of the body before being detected.

: I do not recommend ANY otc supplements as they are unregulated, cost a ton, can be harmful and are not needed if you have a healthy diet. So pl stop. Starting age 40yrs start seeing a Urologist if you have a strong family history of cancer of the prostate

Hold off: Psas can be elevated for many reasons,  including uti, prostatitis, and prostate cancer.   A psa of 300 is very high and very unusual.   It would be wise to have a repeat psa and if it is still elevated consider a repeat 12 -  16 core biopsy.   If prostate cancer is present,  testosterone therapy will worsen it.
