Bloated face: Your bloated face may not be due to fluid collection but rather to deposition of new fatty tissue which isn't significantly affected by diuretic administration. Fluid which collects in the facial area usually shows up in the areas around the eyes(periorbital edema)..

Aldactone (spironolactone): Aldactone (spironolactone) has antiandrogenic effect so helps with facial hair and acne. It also has Progesterone like effects so can cause more menstrual irregularities peri menopause with breast tenderness! It also has a very low estrogen like effect which is generally not clinically significant!
