Not likely: Promethazine is a drug for nausea. It would not be helpful treating a UTI - unless the antibiotic treatment was making you nauseated.

Commonly antbiotics: Commonly a short course of antibiotics (3 days) may be sufficient. Feel better!

Drink a lot : Water to flush the bladder out. Also if true infection. Antibiotic is best. See your PCP to do urine test and culture
