Maybe sweet urine?: The odor and color urine can change from day to day depending on the type and amount of foods and fluid you consume. Urinary tract infections do that as well, but often with burning/urgency etc... Diabetes mellitus (sweet urine) is named because the scientist tasted the urine of diabetic finding the sweet taste back in 6th century. I would recommend getting your urine checked. Good luck.

Chicken or egg?: Who came first? The rash or taking the penicillin. If the rash came after starting penicillin, you could be reacting to the medication. If you had all the abnormal test results prior, the medication should help control the infection. Hives and eczema itch more in hot water, try to take short and tepid showers.

Herxheimer reaction?: Depends in part on reason for penicillin. The most common need for PCN by injection is syphilis. If so, you may be having a Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction (named for the docs who first described it). Billions of dying syphilis bacteria release toxins. It means the PCN is working and you’ll be cured. It will clear up in 1-2 days. Ibuprofen can help.  Contact doc or clinic if uncertain.

See allergist asap: You just had a major potentially life-threatening episode.  While a recurrence after 9 hrs is unlikely it's safest to have RX for epinephrine autoinjector just in case. See an allergist get treated and evaluated.

Side effects: These are not common side effects of penicillin but if you experience them every time you're on penicillin, it apparently affects you that way. Some patients are more intolerant of any medication than other patients.

Yes: No problem taking penicillin class antibiotics with alcohol but keep it in moderation.  If you have a significant infection it would be best to abstain until the infection has resolved.
