Accepted Answer

Yes it does but -: Maybe in ways you may not have thought. Understanding problems may come more readily and so may solutions because you are quick to get the ideas that mental health diagnosis and treatment are based on. That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is how many very intelligent people have mental disorders and either don't know it  or believe they are immune to such a thing & don't do anything about it.

my mom ws mentally trbled wen she ws prgnant with me. i am not so smart and don't have any skills. could it be bcoz of that. i sttuter as well nd am 21?

Accepted Answer

Probably not: It's difficult to know the reasons why you're not so smart and don't have skills, but most likely it's not because your mother was mentally troubled when she was pregnant with you.

been getting tingling in my chin and jaw off and on, im here to ask specifically if laying down, with chin compressed to jaw, for hours at a time, each day, (using smart phone) could cause this to happen due to compressing of the jaw/mental nerves?

Could be: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  However, your posture could be an explanation. See if you can use an alternative to hold your phone. You may use earbuds and microphone.

Irritation certainly: It is unlikely to cause any permanent damage, but possibly irritation. Routine normal movement periodically is a good idea

No. Lots of sugar.: Smart water *sounds* like it's healthy but it's not. One bottle has 7 teaspoons of sugar, even more than 12 oz bottle of coca cola [though i'm not saying that you should drink coke instead]. Plain water is healthiest. Crave flavor? Add a slice of lemon, lime, orange or cucumber. Make your own iced tea [flavored green tea or herbal tea]. Only thing smart about it: makes your pocketbook smart. Ow.

I say you're safe: The "independent medical thinkers" have been alleging horrible health problems caused by these fields for four decades without a single decent study that isn't loaded with recall bias. There's no animal model, no real theory as to why they're dangerous, and the field generated by your beating heart affects you more. By now, the NIH research piranhas would have found any danger that's real.

See below:  risk for contracting the virus depending upon individual factors (not yet clear-genetics etc.) but more importanly it depends upon the amount of virus that you are exposed to - If your job puts you in close quarters with a infected person, this would increase you chance of getting the virus - masks limit transmission of the virus, but do not prevent it - you are not paranoid - the risks are real
