Bronchospasm: It's likely bronchospasm.
Could be an additive in your weed or it could be that your body just isn't liking the smoke.
You can try a vaporizer instead or having a lung function test done to see what could be causing it.

Chest exam: Coughing may cause chest wall pain, due to muscular strain. Apply local heat and take Motrin. Please try to quit smoking and avoid smoke exposure. A chest image is indicated if you are having difficulty breathing.

Likely not: It is likely a reaction of your lung tissue to the introduction of various particulate material inhaled in the process. If you are sure the product has not been tampered with your lungs may just resist the debris. Some foreign chemicals may make it into the product during transit &amp; if so your reaction may be batch specific.

Pulmonary testing: Smoking has multiple adverse health effects, including obstructive lung disease. The best next step is to try to quit. There are many programs available online to help you to quite smoking. Your symptoms may be related to obstructive lung disease. Please have a pulmonary function test and possibly also a chest image, after seeing your PCP.

Rarely: Talk with your doctor about your symptoms.  If needed, your doctor may consider a trial off the Nexium (esomeprazole) then a rechallenge to see if it is truly the culprit.

Mgt: I would suggest a visit with your PCP. There are several possible causes related to infection and wheezing. Avoid smoke, dust, mold and pets. Do you have a fever? Have you had these symptoms previously? Are you coughing?
