Many: They can be caused by medications, kidney function and other medical reasons, hereditary predisposition, and (controversially) diet.  Hyperuricemia can cause the gout.  The underlying cause of hyperuricemia needs to be addressed, and sometimes management with medications are necessary.

Very variable: Many people don't experience ANY psychoactive effects the first few times they may smoke marijuana, whereas others get extremely anxious to the point of panic attacks. The effects in teen-agers and young adults are different than those in adults, and I strongly discourage any use by younger people. It can reduce IQ, impair learning, promote psychotic events and literally damage younger brains.

No THEY DONT: No the seizure medicine does not cause gout or make it worse.Only hydrochlorthiazide, Furosemide and Metolazone cause gout attacks.

No: There is a letter to the editor in a european journal reporting an association. That was in 1950. Since then nothing. To the best of my knowledge antihistamines are not associated with gout.
