please tell me there's supplements i can use to grow my eyebrows ? i've tried latisse, (bimatoprost) rogaine & nothing works my eyebrows keep falling out no thyroid

Hypothyroid: Hypothyroidism can be causative of poor eyebrows. See MD for complete evaluation. Other than good diet and sleep, no other supplements will help.

This is FDA : Approved for eye lash growth. If used for eyebrows be  aware of side affects, namely darkening of the skin where medicine is placed.

Accepted Answer

Yes: The permanent makeup is a tattoo on the skin underneath and next to the eyelashes.  It should not have affected eyelash growth and therefore Latisse (bimatoprost) if effective in you, will have the expected effect.

Latisse (bimatoprost): Common causes of eyelashes falling out include immune-related hair loss, allergy to mascara, thyroid conditions, or, most commonly, natural eyelash loss. 
Latisse (generic name bimatoprost) comes in eyedrop form and is usually used for glaucoma. It has also recently been approved by the FDA to help lengthen eyelashes, but it is not a guarantee that it will work for everyone.

May need surgery: Since you are under the care of a dermatologist, I imagine that there was an investigation as to why you have thinning/no eyebrows. Do you have hair loss anywhere else? If other medications have been tried and exhausted, you may need to consult with a facial plastic or hair restoration surgeon to discuss surgical options.

Eyebrow growth: Is a challenge.  When the medications you've tried haven't worked, some people have had their eyebrows tattoo'ed.  This is not ideal, but does give an option for a more natural look.

Give Latisse (bimatoprost) time.: The most common reason for Latisse (bimatoprost) not working is that it hasn't been used long enough.  Make sure that you have used it as directed for at least 12 weeks.

That really isn't: common to lose the hair. You must be scratching terribly.. I would get on better topical medications for you skin condition and eyebrows should grow back. Make sure there is no thyroid problem, and make sure you have seen a board certified dermatologist

Hypotrichosis: My first question would be how long have you been using the latisse (bimatoprost)?  My experience is that latisse (bimatoprost) works very well if used properly and given enough time.  This also assumes there is no underlying problem with your eye lashes.  Assuming no medical issue other than short eyelashes, I would persist with the latisse (bimatoprost) and give it time.  No other medication recommended for this.

can i use lumigan for my eye lashes? is it the same as latisse (bimatoprost)? and can it grow eye brows?  and what are the side effects?

Yes: Lumigan and Latisse (bimatoprost) are the same drug but Latisse (bimatoprost) is three times stronger.  You can use Lumigan for eyelashes, it works very well.  I am unaware of any studies of Latisse (bimatoprost) used on eyebrows, but i see no reason it would not work there.  The side effects are few - some redness if you get it into the eyes and rarely it will darken the skin.
