Anxiety has been: Reported in 4 % of people. Regarding sensitivity to side effects - it is variable regarding the dosing.  If you just started it - hopefully, it will reduce.

Lamictal: people taking  depakote  tend  to feel somewhat  tired and fatigued.   lamotrigene tends to be activating and energizing-  at higher doses some people experience that as restless anxiety

Niether: Niether have strong evidence supporting their use in anxiety. Neurontin's effects on anxiety are thought to be mediated through its effects on the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA (similar to, but much more subtly than, benzodiazepines). Lamictal is still being investigated for use in anxiety because it can reduce activity of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamine.

May need further eva: If you developed a rash recently, this needs to be evaluated further. Lamictal, in particular, may need to be discontinued. The fact that you did not have a rash before while on Lamictal does not preclude the possibility that you have developed a reaction to it.

i take 400 mg of lamictal once a day. i am not positive but believe i accidentally took an extra dose, because i am feeling dizzy and very anxious. will i be ok? if anything the anxiety is the worst part,

Lamictal: You are on the highest dose of this medication and if you are also taking other meds that interfere with lamictal, the extra dose symptoms will eventually subside but I would call your doctor who prescribed this to report the extra dose and see if there are any further instructions based on your med profile

No: As long as you don't take either medication too close together. I often prescribe Zoloft (sertraline) at bedtime as it may be sedating for soe people. Lamictaliusually prescribe in am. i take 200mg of lamictal (bp2) and 150  buproprion for depression/anxiety. my anxiety has been steadily getting worse. a caffeine reaction? any ideas?

BP2 is BP: Bupropion is activating, and I have seen people with bipolar disorder become too activated by it at times. That could resemble excessive anxiety. Some experts believe that treatment of bp2 should also avoid using antidepressants because they can end up being destabilizing in the long run. Consider talking to your doctor about a trial off bupropion, even just temporarily.
