Bruising: Is blood beneath the skin. Early icing will minimize the bleeding but after that there is not much to do but wait for the blood to be reabsorbed.

Safe,MinmalSideEff: The active ingredients of arnica are sesquiterpene lactones, such as helenalin and 11,13- dihydrohel-enaline and chamissonolid. Also  pinoresinol, epipinoresinol, phillygenin, matairesinol, nortrachelogenin, and nortracheloside (six dibenzylbutyrolactol derivatives).helenalin and dihydrohelenalin, may be responsible for anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. **[P.S. Never worked for me]**

Takes time: Usually icing the bruise initially for first 24 hrs then followed by warmth or heat to help reduce bruise faster.

Ice and compression: Ice and compression to the area with a wrap.  Bruising is below the skin bleeding, so elevating the area will help relieve pressure.  Also, massaging the area gently while taking over the counter anti inflammatory meds.

Bruising : Bruising from filler injections will resolve with time but it will depend upon how extensive the bruising is. Ice compresses after the injection is helpful afterwards but it os also very important to avoid any Aspirin or Motrin containing products for a couple of weeks prior to your treatment.

Ice it: Wrap it not too tight with Coban one inch available at store. Don't cut your blood flow off doing this. Wear a surgical shoe.
I would huh suggest an xray as you may have broken or dislocated the digit.

slipped on ice and landed really hard on the inner side of my knee, 3 weeks ago. bruising and swelling has gone down, but it burns every time it's touched. i can't kneel on it, this causes extreme burning/stinging sensations. will this go away?

i play soccer/football and i always get bruises on my foot and shin because of people stepping and kicking me. is there anyway i could minimise this or recover faster. i use ice, heat, compression, arnica cream but nothing seems to works ?

: Wearing shin guards, 2 pairs of socks, and moving a bit faster might help prevent the injury, but regarding healing, you mentioned the correct items. Icing initially limits local swelling, and elevation if needed, but after 12-24 hours, heat brings more local healing factors, and topicals decrease pain. Massage may also stimulate healing. But, I suspect prevention is what you need to focus on.

Don't disturbe it: Once you've developed a bruise (ecchimosis), there is not much you can do to help it resolve faster than it normally would on its own. I would strongly recommend to leave it alone, as tampering with it may lead to worsening of its appearance or other potentially avoidable complications.
