i've had hyperthyroidism for five years now. my latest ecg sinus tachycardia and slight left heart enlargement...what can i do or need to be aware of?

Echo, treat thyroid: Hyperthyroidism for extended time periods can produce both sinus tachycardia and hypertension.  Hypothyroid states typically cause slo heart rates but hypertension can also be seen.  High BP can result in cardiac hypertrophy (lvh), that can show up as heart enlargement.   Over time this process can cause increased risk for arrhythmia/heart failure, and needs to be monitored closely.

Yes: Most don't. A few have the potential to prolong the qt interval. Zithromax and Levaquin (levofloxacin) are the 2 that have been implicated most recently.

Anxiety: Anxiety is unlikely to cause ischemic changes on ECG unless the anxiety is causing hypertension and tachycardia.

ECG: T wave changes as you describe are usually due to changes in vector forces from lead placement and respiration. Other variables also can come into play. In general we don't get excited by them.

Soft: Murmur not uncommon on women and children. If ekg normal and no symptoms should be fine.

why would my apple watch lead 1 ecg show my r wave tall and thin when im lying on my right side. but on my left side its a tiny r wave with a depressed rs wave? why such a huge difference? whats the normal reason for this?

Watch vs an EKG: Have a 12 lead EKG and if it's perfectly normal the problem is due to the watch not detecting lead voltage from the different positioning.

i did an ecg about six months ago and everything was fine. yesterday i suddenly felt like fainting, increased heart rate, low pressure when i was sat. should i do another ecg? or should my heart be fine cause its only been 6 months?

Ecg : You should establish with a cardiologist that based on reviewing all medical details would be able to set up a plan. An ecg only reflects heart changes at the time is done and has no predictive ability. You need a test that will be able to register your heart activity at the time you have your symptoms and there are now heart monitors that can do that.

No: No. There are multiple reasons why an EKG shows 'changes'. In fact, EKG is a measure of the electrical activity of the heart, and for this reason anything that influence this can cause ekg changes (electrolytes abnormalities, temperature, microvascular problem, disease of conduction sytem, etc..., as well as poor blood supply to the heart, such in the case of MI)

: Too many technologies for obtaining an EKG tracing nowadays and most of them are not standardized for a correct reading. Your question is only valid if you had a 12 lead EKG done and you do not see the P wave before each QRS on most leads.
