hello, i squeeze my nose and hold. then i blow my nose. air usually sounds like it comes out of my ears but my left ear seems like it s cloged. what?

Eustachian tube.: You may have problems with your eustachian tubes in your ears.  They may not be working properly and causing the plugged feeling in your ear.  The sound in your ears when you blow against the closed nostrils is air being forced up this tube.

my cheeks and tops of my ears get red, hot and puffy. happens several times a day for no reason. just embarrassing or cause for concern. ?

Vasodilation: This type of flushing is caused by dilation of the tiny blood vessels in those regions. Heat, spices, embarrassment are some precipitating factors. If these flushing reactions are frequent, severe, and provoked by unknown factors, consult an endocrinologist who will check you for certain conditions like carcinoid,pheocytoma,etc.

for fours days already i've been feeling that my ears are 'stuffed' and i feel there's a certain pressure on my skull , front and sides. it's like i'm on a flight but can't get the air out of my ears,i thought it's something with my ears but nothing?

: your ears may be plugged with wax. but a few drops of hydrogen peroxide for a few days. If not better you will have to see a ENT doctor for exam and management

Hot drink ear pain: The pain in your ear is probably referred pain from your phayrnx, your  hot drink stimulates/irritaates the pharynx nerve and the pain is referred ot the ear. Do you have a smiliar discomfort when  you eat or drink cold stuff? You should see an ENT doc.

Infection, or trauma: Bleeding from the ears is commonly caused by infection of ear canal, trauma to ear canal or ear drum, or sometims ruptured ear drum
it usually stops by itself but may need to chack with your doctor or and ENT specialist.

i woke up in middle of night with severe ringing in both of my ears that is so loud it completely overwhelms me. it lasts only a minute but it builds to a point so loud it feels like my ears are being zapped. this is second time its happened?

Tinnitus: Tinnitus is a very uncomfortable condition. It is frequently traced to inner ear hair cell damage caused by exposure to loud sounds, whiplash, head injuries, too much ear wax, or medication side effects. It can worsen with age, dehydration, and specific diseases (Meniere's disease, high blood pressure) Treatment involves addressing the underlying cause. Talk to your Dr for exam, tests &amp; treatment.

Otalgia: Otalgia is fancy term for ear pain but it doesn't explain cause. Ear is comprised of 3 distinct parts. Inner ear doesn't typically hurt but can lead to dizziness when irritated. Middle &amp; out ear can hurt due to infection, whereby latter is distinguished by pain upon pulling/touching outer ear. Eustachian tube dysfunction can also hurt, too. Check w/your Family Doc to determine what's causing pain.

Move lower jaw: It may be a eustacian tube that is clogged on that side, or it may be wax or debris in the outer ear canal.
Open your jaw half way and move your chin from side to side...This may open the eustacian tube. Try a decongestant, also.
Have someone check your outer ear canal for wax or debris. You may need to irrigate the ear canal to remove debris.

i always have flaky things coming out of my ears. what is it?

Skin and wax: You may have some eczema of the ear canal. The ear canal is lined with the same lining as the rest of your body... Any skin condition that can affect your skin, can affect the lining to your ear. Try some moisturizing cream just inside the ear canal. Do not use q-tips... Apply with your finger tip.

Ruptured TM?: Do you have ear tubes?  You may also have a condition called chronic otitis media with ruptured tympanic membrains (tm's - ear drums).  See your doctor to evaluate this.
