Otalgia: Otalgia is fancy term for ear pain but it doesn't explain cause. Ear is comprised of 3 distinct parts. Inner ear doesn't typically hurt but can lead to dizziness when irritated. Middle & out ear can hurt due to infection, whereby latter is distinguished by pain upon pulling/touching outer ear. Eustachian tube dysfunction can also hurt, too. Check w/your Family Doc to determine what's causing pain.
