i was wondering if herpes can cause a red scaly rash that doesnt itch or is not sensitive to touch on testicals?

Rash on testicals: A "red scaly rash" on the testicles can result from friction due to inadequate support for the scrotum during exercise, etc., or from a yeast (fungal) infection, made symptomatic secondary to lack of light and poor exposure to ventilation which can assist in yeast growth.  Try Monistat 7 cream (over the counter) , and if not helpful, ask your physician for an exam and appropriate treatment.

yeast inf. from amoxicillin lastest 2.5 weeks. also caused burning with urination. is this normal? doc. also tested for herpes b/c red rash present.

Yeast inf. from amox: First, were you treated for yeast infection?  If so vaginal cream or   Diflucam ?
Some women are resistant to normal treatments, and might require extended duration for these medications.Also could be a UTI that keeps irritating the skin.
Another concern is underlying Diabetes ,with pts.taking much longer to rid of infections.
Anemia or immunosuppresion from diseases can affect healing times.

May not be STD: Since most STD's would cause irritation or itching, your penile rash may be due to some other cause. Pl get it checked for a definitive diagnosis. Feel better

It : It would be very unusual for herpes or vaginal yeast infection to spread throughout the body.  Other medical issues, such as MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus), eczema, psoriasis, pityriasis, or other dermatological issues can cause a rash on the body.  Trying a mild anti-bacterial soap and mild lotion may be helpful, but if it is a worsening rash, or if the patient had fever or new symptoms, then the patient should be medically evaluated.

my doctor said i have herpes zoster. after taking tablets and applying cream, blisters and other red rashes continue to form along my jawline. help!

See MD : I would see a dermatologist immediately. Are your vaccinations up to date? Is the rash painful? A culture of the lesions can be taken to rule out other causes. Good luck.

Viral infection: The medication you've bee prescribed is Not a customary treatment for herpes zoster infection. I generally prescribe Valtrex™ Or similar. Your treating MD may be treating you for a bacterial infection you've been diagnosed. Check with your doctor to have a clarification, or seek a second opinion.

Possible: Herpetic rash tends to be in a cluster of small blisters that can be itchy or can burn and be painful. The blisters then can break leaving the area with shallow ulcers that will eventually crust over and go away --- to recur again at a later date.

i have a rectal rash and a rash on my inner thigh.  it's red and feels lumpy? could this be herpes? no pain during urination.  no odor or discharge.

Rashes: rashes, especially in the groin and peri-anal area can be caused by many different things.  You really need an exam and possible testing to determine the true diagnosis.  Good luck.

Not enuf info: See a doctor to help you. The rash may be infectious or reactive. Your history and other symptoms etc. Will be needed by your doctor to sort out the true cause.

sex 2 days ago. new brand of condom. noticed there is a red rash around bottom of vaginal area. not herpes like. what else could it be? red and itchy.

Itchy: It is possible that you are allergic to the spermicide or latex- like material of the new condom
