Warning signs that should prompt one to see a physician are sudden worsening of the throat pain, enlarging lymph nodes, persistent fever, any resultant breathing difficulty, sinus pressure after 14 days that is not improving, and suddenly getting worse after a period of improvement.

Microwaves denature: (destroys) the enzymes in food.  Thus, you get little nutrition from microwaved food.  This may account, to some degree, for the weakness you mention in your history. As far as other side effects of microwaved foods, it may be too early to tell.  A toaster oven is quick enough and easy.  Peace and good health.

Probably none: Most Americans get the daily vitamins they need with eating.  Vitamins, particularly multi-vitamins, are useless. They usually do not hurt you.  Unless you are a strict vegetarian, pregnant, on a restricted diet,  are currently fighting cancer or some other illness, or have a definite proven deficiency, they are only good for the sellers.  Save your money and get a gym membership for best results
