I : I wonder if at least some of the undesirable symptoms that you described could be due to the medications that you are taking or interactions between the medications. Could you please post the list of your medications including their daily dose? It might be possible then to comment more on the potential cause of these symptoms.

If I understand: Your question means fatigue or sleepiness, and either may be a trigger for seizure activity, if a patient is sub-optimally controlled by their medications.

if your daily dose of carbamazepine is reduced from 800mg to 400mg a day for epilepsy will you get withdrawal symptoms. fatigue, frequent seizures, loss of appetite etc. it was suppose to be raised but got lowered for some reason. it's been 5 days?

: If your dose was lowered subsequent to the determination of serum drug levels, it may have been needed if the level was above the therapeutic range.  But if the level drops to subtherapeutic amounts, withdrawal seizures will likely occur, so recheck this.  Do discuss any of your symptoms with your doctor.  Avoid driving, activities at heights, use of power equipment until this is all stabilized.

Yes: It depends on what type of seizures you usually have, but theoretically if you are extremely exhausted suddenly, when before you werent, and you are on the same dose of meds, you could be having silent seizures that are causing you to be tired afterwards.  That is called post ictal somnolence.

Aphasia: Difficulty comprehending or producing spoken language may be related to your epilepsy in most left-handed people and virtually all right-handed people one would expect to see worsening of your ability to communicate if you have subclinical seizure activity going on in your left frontal or left temporal lobe maybe time to have a visit with your neurologist maybe get another EEG or labs ( or both )

Epilepsy: I am sorry to hear about your struggle. I understand this must be very difficult to you. The best treatment for your epilepsy  will depend on the type of seizure or epilepsy. Difficult to control seizures require multiple medications. In most teaching hospitals, epilepsy centers are now providing surgical cure to some types of seizures. A vagus nerve stimulator could also be used in some cases.

Might be : Does sound like seizures but your question got cut off.  Where in nz are you?  This would probably be more suitable for a consultation.  If you're in the Waikato this can be done virtually otherwise your GP is a good start.

Various items: If you are de-conditioned, it might take some time to tolerate the new exercises.  You might have underlying cardiovascular or blood pressure issues, possible anemia, or medical problems where you need supportive care.  Your anti-epileptic drugs may be interfering.  Work closely with your doctor and consider a personal trainer.

Seizures: Idiopathic means we don't know the cause, but many theories exist mostly related to a physical abnormality or chemical abnormmality in the brain.

Yes: Some type of epilepsy cause come, coma means absence of meaningful response to external stimuli like sound, pain etc.
