It will take some time for the medication to work and it Is very important that you return to the MD to be re-examined and have a follow up GC culture to be certain the infection is gone. There will be some "discomfort and discharge" until that return appointment.

Many possibilities: There are many possible causes and you won't sort it out by online investigation or self testing. Return to your doctor for reevaluation for bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas, yeast, and other causes. Absence of odor is atypical for trich or BV, but could happen; be sure you are tested for both. For trich, ask for the newer DNA test, much better than older methods like exam of fluid by microscope.

Candida is common: Candida is very common. You should not be treating yourself with antibiotics without proper testing, you might end up with a fungal infection such as candida.
