A member asked:

Why am i experiencing clear discharge after being treated for gonorrhea ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. James Lin answered

Here are some...: Treating gonorrhea makes purulent discharge disappeared, and adding the care for chlamydia may ease and fade clear discharge since both bacteria tend to go together. Hence empirically treating both is good practice; commonly using ceftriaxone for gono and azithromycin for chlamydia. So, talk with your treating doctor for reassessing your current state of vaginal health and sex safety timely. Best.
