Circumcision: It will stop hurting as the tissue heals. It will take 2-4 weeks for everything to heal.  I would talk to you surgeon for his recommendations, especially concerning when you can resume sexual activity.

Avodart (dutasteride): While erectile dysfunction is listed as a common side effect of Avodart, (dutasteride) in my experience it is more likely that the medication is exacerbating another cause of erectile dysfunction rather than being the sole cause.  The drug has a very long half-life and may stay in your system for many weeks after stopping it. I would recommend an evaluation for ED by a urologist.

: Continue the antibiotic. It's not certain you have a strep throat, but it's still quite likely despite the negative culture. Strep throat is not treated only to clear symptoms. Without adequate treatment (usually for 10 days), long term consequences can include serious heart and kidney disease.

: Although rarely trazodone can cause priapism, an erection lasting only 15 minutes is of no clinical concern. If you notice that An unexpected erection lasts longer, seek medical attention immediately. Sorry, you can't: This isn't possible. Once a cold or similar upper respiratory infection starts, you're in for the full deal, usually a week or so. You can help reduce symptoms with aspirin, paracetamol, and related drugs, nasal decongestants, etc. But that's about all. Sorry!
