i feel palpitations all the time in upper stomach, i have hypothyroidism taking eltroxin 25mg, high pulse rate all the time, feeling hot, exhausted?

Check thyroid levels: See your doctor to have your thyroid levels checked and that you are on the right dosage. Additionally, an ekg (electrocardiogram) can ensure that there isn't an abnormal heart rhythm.

i've been put on levothyroxine (137 mg daily) and i've been having head palpitations. is it the levothyroxine? am i getting too much for my system?

i've been prescribed levothyroxine. but it gives me bad anxiety, panic attacks, palpitations. could my heart be bad? what can i do about anxiety?

Check with your MD: You need to check with your medical doctor or endocrinologist as your palpitations may be related to the therapy, you may be taking more levothyroxine and may need dose adjustment.That in turn may be giving you panic/anxiety attack
you need your tsh, t3&free t4, checked and if dose adjustment or blood test is ok, you may get treated for panic attacks witth ssris and/or tranquilisers.

i have hypothyroidism, pharmacy switched manufacturers of levothyroxine. now i have palpitations and panic attacks.. should i see endocrinologist?

Your thyroid: Levels can often change whenever your pharmacy changes brands of thyroid replacement generics. That's why it's best to take brand name replacement only. Get your levels rechecked to see if you need a dose adjustment.

palpitations, fast resting heart rate (99), exhaustion and want to sleep all day, and nausea and not sleeping well. i'm on levothyroxine 137mg. how do you know if this is anxiety or thyroid?

: The best way to figure out if your thyroid medicine needs to be adjusted would be to get blood work, including thyroid function testing. If your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is high, then you need more levothyroxine. So, talk to the doctor who prescribes this medicine and let him/her know your symptoms and ask for the blood test. You need to do this ASAP to get this under control. Good luck!

Thyroid hormone: Levothyroxine is a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone thyroxine, which is normally secreted by the follicular cells of the thyroid gland. It is used to treat thyroid hormone deficiency.  Cataract is not normally considered a side effect of thyroid hormone replacement, but it can raise blood sugar levels in some diabetics which can speed development of cataract. See eye md for evaluation.

i have been feeling heart palapitations again.  dr upped my levothyroxine about a month ago.  when should i start worrying that i need to see doc?

can it be the sperm that causes misscariage ?..i had two and i don't know why everything is ok except hypothyroid and i take the right eltroxin dose ?

Yes but less likely: Most miscarriages are caused by genetic abnormalities in the embryo. Most of those are caused by problems with egg but some come from genetically abnormal sperm. You should consider asking your gyn or ferility doctor for a recurrent miscarriage work up.

does eltroxin help you loose weight from hypothyroid.  i have been gaining and my dr. upped my dose.  could it cause weight gain instead ?

Yes: If your thyroid has been underactive weight gain can occur. Correcting the hypothyroidism by prescribing the proper dose of eltroxin can help you lose weight. Of course, calories count and exercise also contributes to weight loss. To lose 1 pound in a week you have to reduce your calorie intake by 500 each day.

good day. i had half of my thyroid removed more than 5 years ago and all my tests is good. i'm taking eltroxin. i have water retention very badly. what can cause this?

There are many: possible reasons for your fluid retention but your thyroid history is not! Hope this is helpful!
