Yes: Sodas dont have calcium in them and contain phosphoric acid which increases the excretion of calcium worsening osteoporosis. Caffeine also leaches calcium from the bone. Drinking it occasionally is ok however.

Yes, : Yes, getting adequate calcium and vitamin d are essential to maintaining good bone strength.  At least 1200mg of calcium and 800 international units of vitamin d3 are helpful to maintain bone density. This can be from your diet (milk and some orange juices are fortified with both, as are some cereals, and other products).  Also, weight bearing exercise (walking, jogging, elliptical, etc.) help maintain bone density and is a treatment for osteopenia/osteoporosis.

GGT: Elevated GGT may reflect abnormality of liver, biliary tract, pancreas. Elevated GGT out of proportion to other labs is an indicator of alcoholic liver disease.
